Hospitality Program
Hospitality activities encourage the public use of the Park and the work of volunteers at the Park.  The FOHF has sponsored activities such as after hours yoga sessions, art in the park opportunities, star gazing, providing food and drink for volunteers and attendance of off-site events to publicize the Park.
The funding for general hospitality functions supported by the Friends typically comes from undesignated donations and membership funds, however the Friends also manages two special purpose funds for hospitality functions at the Park.

The Colliers Fund is held and disbursed to provide refreshment and miscellaneous supplies to the Colliers, who operate the biennial charcoal burning events.  If you haven't seen a charcoal burn, you should try to attend one in the Spring (typically May)  or Summer (typically August) as this is a key step of industrial ironmaking and an interesting process.

Quilters Fund donations are used to provide refreshments for volunteer participants in Hopewell quilting programs.
